in EzineArticles.com, states that recently someone recently
purchased the largest track of acreage since the purchase
of 30,000 acres made by Walt Disney. This purchase was
made in YeeHaw Junction, FL and is pretty remniscent
of that 1965 purchase.

the land to sell off the homes quickly during this hot
real estate market. However, these investors may be
thinking more long term, realizing that the state of
Florida expects its population to grow 35,000 people
per month over the next 30 years. The appreciation of
that land over time with the demand from a growing population
is the perfect opportunity to wait out the market and
take advantage of "land banking."
Their target consumer may not be just the retirees but,
rather, the 20-40 year olds moving into the ecomomically
growing areas as well. This scenario is deemed more profitable
than the shorter term develop and sell investment strategy.
